I refuse to compromise so don't offer a compromise. It's my belief freedom of speech embraces ALL opinions whether you agree with them or not. However, the bigger babies complain that it's a bad thing and I should only allow popular opinions about uber conservatism without offering a counterpoint. The giant pussies also believe name calling is a detriment when in fact, I believe getting mad and calling names is equally freedom of speech just like being nice. Freedom means "without censor" and that's the only way I'll play it. So vote and we'll either leave it alone or take it down. There is NO offer on the table to change it. Whatever votes win will be decided on Friday at 6pm. There is no going back. Once deleted I cannot undelete it. If we delete it I will NOT allow these political conversations in the other forums. Posting them will get you banned. You decide.

I don't want to hear any whining about it a month from now if you keep it so think about your decision.

LOL at this LP! Name calling and the like are all fine and well but to me it just negates the name caller's argument/point. But hey, we each have our ways. If you get "mad" from an internet post that someone directed at you then maybe you need help? Just saying... LOL

oops, I accidently voted to delete it. I vote to keep it. Good entertainment. Plus, if you delete it, just think of all the page hits you will loose and that reduces the value of the website.

Damn LP, you have been in a bad mood the past week or so. I thought the RV life was agreeing with you, but I guess not.

Do as you feel best for you. I enjoy reading and posting here, but there are other sites.

I didn't vote. It's totally up to you. As you said "I don't get mad. i push buttons. Idiot."

Only real time I've been mad is when a few members stood up for an internet troll who is using the internet to ruin a local businessman and his business. I'm sure they did it to try and get to me even though if it were their friends or parents business they'd be losing their minds. I noticed most of the members who supported the troll work for their Daddy's so they don't have a clue about real life and the struggle therein. That makes them bigger idiots in my eyes than anyone I've ever met. Capt Buddah amongst them. That's the downside to freedom of speech but our members who supported the troll are the downside to the human race. i guess we really are a microcosm?

LP you really have lost your mind...show me where I supported this "troll" you are referring to??? You either can't read...or you are an idiot...oh wait...a FUCKING idiot....I think that's the point you misunderstood. But either way, you're an idiot, so it doesn't really matter.

Show me where you stood up for the businessman? You were the pussy saying "there's two sides to every story" if I remember correct? This, you were saying to a troll who is posting on every boating site that can hurt the man's business. He won't identify himself or stand behind his words in anyway. For over a year he's been saying he'd post proof and never has. just one wild accusation after another. If it were your daddy's business and guys like you were giving the troll credibility you'd hate their guts and think they were idiots for not seeing the difference between a troll and a regular person with a legitimate complaint. I'll never forgive you. Not that you care. but.. i never will.

Whether it's the internet or real life you have to be a man and stand up for what's right. When you don't.. it devalues your soul and your worth as a human being. It's like watching someone burn in a fire and not helping. You have to man up. not every now and then. You have to do it each time the opportunity arises.

You remind me of the guys who talk the most shit before a battle. When it's time for action, you can find them in the fetal position crying for their Momma or paralyzed by fear.

I'm not just picking on you. TxJole, Drock.. all of you. Just to get at me, you allow someone to destroy an innocent business and family. No character. none at all.

LP, like I said before, you've really lost your mind. You are apparently reading way too much into things I've posted. It's too bad that you can't wrap your "big brain" around my posts. You can't see the forest through the trees and I reaaly pity you, seriously. You need help. Get it. And I mean that with the utmost sincerity.

Umm.. maybe you should read your posts? I don't care what you say about me. i welcome it. but you passed an opportunity to stand up for a fellow businessman because you would rather take shots at me. Poor character my man.

Missed my chance, eh? Then, according to you, PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE on this site did so as well. Hey, I've been screwed by a business before, who hasn't?? Apparently the "troll" you refer to feels like he's been screwed too. To unilaterally "stand up" for someone/something that I don't know/have knowledge of would be quite foolish, as I've said...maybe you don't have good reading comprehension skills?? Or you just like stirring the shit pot? You do quite well at that. Either way, have fun with your delusions! It just seems like your looking for something/someone to hate...have fun with that!

I'm a little shocked myself no one manned up and defended a local businessman obviously being debased by an internet troll. Even without hearing both sides, the fact this guy uses every internet site there is to full time harass Leon should be self evident of an over the top attempt to ruin a business. I may be over the top myself but I own my words and keep my opinions as just that.. opinions. Even with my recent experience with terry Wilson I was very exact about it being my experience and yours may vary. many people disappointed me with their silence. but those that publicly gave the troll credibility exceeded even the weak asses who won't stand up. I think even you will admit I would defend your business just as voraciously against an anonymous troll obviously trying to hurt you. There are very few men left. I find that more disappointing than anything. This nation is in lot's of trouble.

I just voted to KEEP it. Really doesn't matter one way or the other, it's just a time killer for me anyway. However, I have actually learned alot from this site. Some good and some bad. One thing, I'm glad to see that I feel like the majority of visitors on here who seem to have a good head on their shoulders. I've learned and am ashamed that there are extreme, evil brain dead liberals right here in Texas! I really despise Libs but pray for them alike.

Btw, I have no idea about the troll/local businessman thing. Sounds awful!

Thanks for the FREE entertainment LP! However I still feel the Sysop(YOU) should be a moderator and not the #1 poster. I used to run a FREE BBS back in the day, before the internet, and I tell ya you really will attract alot more visitors and keep them.(Money in your pocket) Just my opinion, it's your site.

I know this site costs a few bucks to run due to hosting fees etc...so as long as it is valuable to me, I think I will donate. I've been freeloading too long.

It's late so I hope all this made sense!

Good night

You sure do spend a lot of energy and key strokes defending Leon Dereberry. Does Leon even know your name? Proud

Don't waste the key strokes to try and convince me as to why you do it...I know it's for a good cause...blah blah blah

For the record, I am not taking the "trolls" side or defending the "troll". I dont give a shit about the "troll" either.

It just happens to be leon. I'd do it for anybody. i believe you have to stand up when a situation presents itself either in real life, or on the internet. I'll not apologize for it. I understand it's rare, but it should be the norm. Men just aren't men anymore. You are so cultured by television and protected by your parents you are an observer of life. not a participant. There's more to life than showing up for work and buying a boat.

all i can say is i am being phased out. it's no big loss to the site. i'm sure it's a positive thing. does it really matter who owns it? do you care who owns other sites you go to? anyone who made a deal with the site still has a deal with the site if they want it.

the lawsuit is filed against me. not the site. the site is unencumbered from litigation and protected by the same laws that protect newspapers and tv stations.
