Yeah that's what they tell us to make us feel better at 140-150 F

Got a mark on my right hand from laying it on a toolbox in 2005
Branded by 152 degree weather
No need for a tatoo just touch something outside thats metal.

LOL
122 today by 11am. water water water!

I remember when I was there, waaaaaay back in '91. We were happy to find the odd bottle of water just laying around - even if it was hot! The trick was to either get a certs first, or lacking that, we'd get a touch of tooth paste on the finger and eat that before drinking the water, to make it "feel" cold from the mint.

Man .... it is way more fun being an Army of Invasion than an Army of occupation.

My hats' off to all of you there. Wish they'da let us finish it when we were there in my day.

I'll scan some of my pics in a few days ....

ps - I was in C Co, 63 CML, 3BDE of the 101 AB DIV (ASSLT)

i think they make two of some of them... one for the owner and one for the display

As I recall, it's basically a deal where they store the bike and display it for the customer.

But, as I find most of their bikes a joke for just the reason LP said (unridable) the best pic in this whole thread is of the gal in inya4's photo! Not being disrespectful, just sayin' ....

I'd worked for all my life

what i found interesting was that I have always belived it was a free concert, everyone got a long , and it was all peace and love. not true.

it was supposed to be paid admission. the fences were not complete and people just started walking in. then they tore down the rest of the fences. the promotors lost their ass. the band got pissy because there was no money and they didn't get paid. there was not enough food and boyscouts had to bring peanut butter and jelly. there were not enough medical facilities for the bad acid trips and they had to differentiate people who were medical cases treating them and they put the others in the FREAK OUT zone. they actually teid to have the farm dec;are a disaster area so the national guard would airlift food in

in seeing images 102 and 108, a lot of people have asked "i thought pete rose was not in the HOF"

He is not. meaning he doesn't have a plaque on the bottom floor in the actual hall. however that does not mean that his memorbila is not on display in the museum upstairs. Which does seem somewhat hypocritial of baseall to. you want his stuff on display but won;t let him in?
